Please allow 24 hours for your prescription refill to be called into your pharmacy. Do not wait for your prescription to run out, especially if it is going to run out on a weekend. The doctor on call may not be able to refill some prescriptions without your chart -- and he won't have your chart at his house. When you call, have ready the phone number of your pharmacy, the name of your medicine, the dose, and how often you take it. Leave a phone number where you can be reached if it is necessary to talk to you before calling in the refill.
